Revell Baldwin Motion drag Cobra , kinda

Built this one as a fantasy as I have already built a stock out of the box one . I added a sheet plastic spoiler and made some rear flares with sheet plastic and putty . Paint is Tamiya TS - 60 Pearl Green and TS- 20 metallic Green for the roof . Clear is Duplicolor but not the 1K version that I like because I was out of it . Not perfect but I’m fairly happy with it .

They look great.  I had no idea Baldwin Motion modified anything by Chevy's.

Baldwin was a Chevy dealer; Motion was a speed shop/tuner that would work on anything. I know they did Pontiacs and am pretty sure they did some Mopars. 

BTW, nice model, you really captured the look and "feel" of these things. I have to find one of these kits sometime. Well done and model on!

They both look great Ray,nice clean builds. How many Cobras have you built vs. other vehicle brands. All the kits I ever built since the 60s I have never done a Cobra, I have an original issue and I think I may buy another and build one soon.

Looks great. Did you use a base coat under the light pearl green?

Thanks Scott.  Thanks Michael. As for the base coat it was just Duplicolor grey primer. Normally for a color like this I would use Tamiya white primer but I was out.
