cheyenne93 Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 Started working on this a couple days ago. After a lot of head scratchin, decide to do it pro street. Building a twin turbo LS motor. Building a pro street back half narrowed frame. Painting it Krylon pumpkin orange. First time building a pro street frame. Wish me luck. Thanks for lookin, and as always comments welcomed. More pics to come.
Zippi Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 That's going to be pretty kewl as a Pro Street. Ill be watching this o e.
cheyenne93 Posted July 14, 2022 Author Posted July 14, 2022 So I thought that the rear wheels were a bit to wide so I narrowed them. Progress is slow, as I'm building a go kart for my buddy's grandson for his birthday. Just about finished with it. Will post more as I make more progress.
cheyenne93 Posted July 20, 2022 Author Posted July 20, 2022 Progress is slow, but it's starting to take shape. Got the frame ready to hang the rearend on. Have to scratch out my four link and some coil overs. Thanks for lookin. 3
Street Rod Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 Looks like a good start, just the right stance on the mock up.
Zippi Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 Oh yeah....that's gettin down in the weeds now. Looking great.
Bugatti Fan Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 Coming along nicely Joel. Who's kit is it? I think you forgot to mention it earlier in the thread.
cheyenne93 Posted August 5, 2022 Author Posted August 5, 2022 Got the coil over's and the 4 link all made. Maybe get the frame painted soon. Gotta make some modifications to the motor also. 3
Chevy II Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 What wire are you wrapping the coil overs with?

cheyenne93 Posted September 4, 2022 Author Posted September 4, 2022 Finally got some paintin done on the pumpkin. Looks pretty good for out of the can krylon. As always feel free to comment. Thanks for the input. 1
cheyenne93 Posted September 14, 2022 Author Posted September 14, 2022 Getting more done on the pumpkin. Slow going. Changed motor to a 572 chevy, (ICEMAN). Gotta scratch out some headers. Repainted the cab. As always comments welcome. 3
cheyenne93 Posted September 21, 2022 Author Posted September 21, 2022 Got the headers made for the PUMPKIN and the interior done. Tried to make a more modern lookin chrome steering column. Had to recess the firewall so the motor would fit. Having fun with this one. Looking for some input. should I leave the chrome, chrome or black it out. Thanks for lookin.
David G. Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 Love the stance! The colors really suit the truck. David G.
cheyenne93 Posted September 21, 2022 Author Posted September 21, 2022 The body chrome is what I was referring to. Thanks
Zippi Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 The pumkin is looking pretty kewl and I love that 572 shoehorned in the business end. How about a shiny Gun Metal for all the chrome.
cheyenne93 Posted September 22, 2022 Author Posted September 22, 2022 Great idea on the gray, to bad I already did flat black, but thank you.
espo Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Great looking build. I like the way the interior looks. You mentioned blacking out the chrome, was this the engine headers? I would suggest leaving them chrome with just a very light touch of clear blue around the mounting flange to represent exposure to high heat and a little very thin black wash where the pipes meet the collectors, only enough to define the tubes from one another is all.
