A nice kit that builds without major issues. Build straight out the box. the color is Tamiya acrylic metallic brown mixed with platinum silver. Clear is TS13. I like the sporty look of that era.

The year is not stated so If any pick up guy know what year it is please let me know. I think it looks like 97-98 but I'm not sure.

thanks for looking.

Looks great, I like the color! You are correct that the kit represents the '97-'98 model years. In 1999, they revised the front end with a taller grille and a dip in the bumper cover.

Great looking build, and your color mix worked out especially nice. I've got a couple or three of these in the stash, purchased mostly for their underpinnings, but it does build up very nice on its own as you've proven. Very popular body style, Lindberg, Revell, and AMT all offered some variant. There was an excellent comparison build-up of all three in the now-defunct-other-magazine. I believe it is possible, by mixing and matching, to build every possible version of this truck: short, long, wide, step-side, 2WD, 4WD, etc. As always, nice photography work here, too! Well done.

The body and interior colors look great together. Like the smooth shinny paint work.

Thank you David, Probably never offered in that color but I thought it would look good on it. Whenever I repainted one of my cars, I didn't much care if it was factory correct, I just picked whatever I liked. I had a beetle painted in  yellow corvette 82. Did not go faster though.?

Not on the F150, but it looks similar to the Aztec Gold (in certain lighting) offered on the 1997 Mustang.

Another Great looking build Mario.  Looks like someone could walk right out of the old warehouse and get in it and drive away.  I really like the color.

Very nice looking F-150, but then most of them are.  Really like the paint on this one. There is a reason the F-150 is the top selling vehicle for the past 48 years.
