This was a built kit that I took apart, stripped, and restored as needed. I used the kit tires and hubcaps instead of changing to larger tires as I usually do on these Hubley Fords.

These hubcaps are the same as the ones used on the 13 inch 1:1 62 Fairlane wheels. I don't think they were made in the larger size for the full size cars. I  liked the looks of these but have a set of Modelhaus 62 Galaxie hubcaps to use on the next 62 wagon I build.

Please feel free to comment, I appreciate all, good or bad.  Thank you for looking.  -Rich    My 60 Plymouth wagon will probably be next up.

Nice re-build, and a good looking wagon. I've been intrigued by these Hubley Ford wagons for some time, and keep my eye out for one. I see lots or promos on the bay, but usually warped badly. The kits seem less common.

Excellent, even with the Fairlane wheel covers.

My Dad had a '63 sedan in silver like this one.

Thanks Trevor. Yes, these kits are less common. I think the 60 is the easiest  to find, frollowed by the 61 and then the 62.  -Rich

Well done Rich !  Personally I like those hubcaps on it !

I agree, Bob. That's why I decided to use them on this one even though I don't think they are correct. -Rich

It's an easy and inexpensive upgrade that lots of people did to their cars , heck I remember doing it a couple times on old cars I owned .

I've done the same on 1:1 cars.
