thebavarian Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 I built this car from a Revell 1/25 kit in spring 2021 in only 6 weeks. This is the fastest car built I ever did. The colors are vom Tamiya the clearcoat from Glasurit. I had much fun by building this fine car. The clearcoat is not perfect and the car a little bit dusty. 5
Jim B Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 (edited) Nicely done. Is this the "Greased Lightning" kit? Edited October 13, 2022 by Jim B 1
Chevy II Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Beautiful detail on the interior. Actually the entire build is outstanding. 1
bbowser Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Period perfect colors, great work on the interior. Thanks for sharing. 1
espo Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Great looking finishes. Like the showroom appearance. 1
thebavarian Posted October 13, 2022 Author Posted October 13, 2022 @Jim B I think it was a normal kit, no special @Chevy II I hope that I know the colors this time. I think it was Tamiya Buff und sand yellow or desert yellow. The wooden parts are painted first with Vallejo old wood, than oil paint burnt sienna and at last Tamiya clear orange
TransAmMike Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Very nice Thomas. That dash sure is impressive!! 1

Zippi Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 Boy, that's a good looking 48 Ford. Great looking interior and I use the Tamiya Buff a lot for interiors. Nice looking engine bay. Gotta love those flattys. 1
