TarheelRick Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Will be going in Tuesday (Nov 29th) for a total right knee replacement. Once released from the hospital I will be in an in-patient rehab facility for a short time, at least I hope for a short time, probably ten days to two weeks. I will not have access to a computer. Have been putting this off as long as I could stand it and the shots worked, but they are now lasting a few days and the pain returns, so it is time to go under the knife. Had the left one done back in '13 so I am not unfamiliar with what to expect.
AMT68 Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Best of luck for a successful surgery and quick recovery.
Snake45 Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Best of luck to you. I spent the whole month of May in an "in-patient rehab facility" and it wasn't much fun. Take plenty of good stuff to read. Better yet, find out if the joint has wi-fi that you can log into and take a tablet (if you have to buy one, trust me, it's worth it). The staff was outstanding at my place and I loved them. The food was pretty good, too.
Calb56 Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Prayers or the equivalent to you and yours. Take care.
Joe Nunes Posted November 26, 2022 Posted November 26, 2022 Take care, relax when you can, and get well soon. Joe

Mike 1017 Posted November 27, 2022 Posted November 27, 2022 Good Luck. The marvels of modern medicine. My wife had a hip replacement done. She had to walk up 1 flight of stairs before she could leave. Mike
