TooOld Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 This is an older build that I took new photos of for another site , I built it 10-11 years ago when I just got back into the hobby . This was probably my first attempt at running brake and fuel lines on a chassis . I also added a MAD distributor , brass screen to the radiator shell , some gauges , and replaced the kits rear tires with some from my parts box . Nice little kit , it's a 70's version of the Tweedy Pie with all of the fiddly little parts . 5
bigdrag1 Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 I remember this build, Still look`s great. Thanks for reposting it Bob, it`s really a cool little kit !
happy grumpy Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 That's a cool looking rod. Very nice details. The positioned front wheels are a nice touch. Good work.
Zippi Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 That just looks so kewl. You captured the box art to a "T". Nice build.
Dragline Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 I have always wanted this kit but it can be pricey. I think tje decal sheet is an absolute hoot. Well done Bob...
Kah puts Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Wow how psychedelic is that or maybe that's the shrooms talking ?
cobraman Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Looks much better than the one I built a million years ago.

I haven't looked lately but I'm sure the prices are getting way up there . If you have a Tweedy Pie it's the same kit except for the wheels & tires , and I have a complete original decal sheet it you're interested . 15 hours ago, Kah puts said: Wow how psychedelic is that or maybe that's the shrooms talking ? Dan Hay Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 (edited) Andy Brizio built wild psychedelic painted T's back in the 60's and 70's, and he has been also referred to as "The Rodfather". I think it's safe to assume this kit was based on Andy Brizio's builds. Andy is father to famous hot rod builder Roy Brizio. Great build! Edited December 5, 2022 by Dan Hay
bobthehobbyguy Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 Nicely done. Never seen a built of this version before.
