Plowboy
With all of the 3-D printers going now, surely someone makes one. I did a search. But, all I found were the files.
Rob Hall
I did see some resin 240 6s out there (VCG Resins, I believe), but they were out of stock. Didn't see a 300. But isn't the 240 in the Mobeius pickups basically the same? Edited January 4, 2023 by Rob Hall
Tabbysdaddy
I would be interested in the fuel injected version to build my 87. With a 5 speed.

The M50D is very similar to the 3.8L S/C 5-speed, so you could source the trans from a Revellogram Thunderbird S/C (if you could find an engine.....)

The rear end of the block is taller than the front and the transmission mounts at an angle.
Classicgas
I'll take it.

I ended up sanding the oil pan mounting surface flat and cutting the bellhousing mounting flange off since I was using a different transmission. But, none of that should be necessary on a new kit. I got the fuel injected version from Kitchen Table Resins several years ago. No idea if it's still available. The transmission from the Lindberg "Off Road 4 x 4 F 150" is a perfect match for the 5 speed in my '90 F 150.

If you contact Josh through his website and let him know which engines you are interested in, he'll email you when they'll be available again. He has a couple different 240/300 available. https://vcgresins.com/shop/ols/products/ford-240300-i6-performance-engine-kit https://vcgresins.com/shop/ols/products/ford-240300-i6-hot-rod-engine-kit https://vcgresins.com/shop/ols/products/ford-240300-i6-stock-engine-kit Edited January 5, 2023 by Calb56

The dual 4 bbl version is pretty cool. Hhmmm… wheels are turning. Brewing up a new project here. I’m picturing a Maverick bracket car with wicked 300 six power. Darn! Another one for the project book. I’m never going to build them all.

There were a handful of crossflow heads for the 300 made for a joint UPS/Ford project that fell through. They are highly sought after by 300 guys. There's is also a way to cut down LS heads to fit the 300.
