speedy5963 Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 Just wrapped up this build, was done for an Instagram Build-off, was fun, the build definitely had its fit challenges. The first kit I started with had a warped chassis and warped body, next one was clear but had a number of issues overall, I ended up robbing an old chassis from an AMT 67 Camaro I had started years ago, stripped it down and it helped quite a bit with some fit issues. Overall, the model is built mostly with kit provided parts, a few interior details were added along with some lines and cables in the engine compartment. The body was cleaned and shaved for the most part, front and rear pans were molded and filled in, the paint is a PPG Mercedes Gold covered with Deltron 3k clear. Onto the next project! 1
