I'm pretty happy with this one. Lots of the usual disasters and mistakes during building, but I persisted and it's a good build, for me. It's encouraging that my skills seem to be improving...for a while there I thought they never would. I'm really impressed with this kit...I wish they were all this well designed and made. I'd definitely buy another.

After swearing off BMF I decided to give it another go, and I seem to be getting the knack. For this kit I went with aluminum foil and Micro metal foil adhesive. I find the usual pre-glued BMF a bit frustrating because it also sticks to everything I don't want it to and it can difficult to removed the trimmed bits. I found the aluminum foil easier to work with, but I'm not very happy with the way it looks compared with BMF. It doesn't burnish up nearly as smoothly and might actually be too bright. I'll probably go back to BMF.

This build is almost box stock. I added a distributor and plug wires. Body paint is mint green matte craft paint coated with flat clear.

Thanks for looking.

That is a really good looking Mustang!? I think the colour looks great on it. You need a really fine set of tweezers for removing the excess BMF I’ve found.

Yes, I'm very happy with the color. This is the first time I've done a flat body paint and it looks much nicer than I expected. Also yes on the tweezers, especially if you break down and buy a decent pair that actually works. ?

Thanks all for the comments.

Sharp looking Mustang Sidney , and in a great color !  BMF takes some practice , we all struggle at first , but give it a chance and you'll be surprised that it does get easier .
