TooOld Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 Wow ! Very nicely done Lee ! Such a fiddley kit to build and you've done an excellent job . I'd skip the working roof too , why bother if it's going to sit on a shelf or in a cabinet forever .
doctor phillips Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 Great job, Lee!! I tried this kit when it was new & I put it back in the box unbuilt ten minutes later. ?
Classicgas Posted February 28, 2023 Author Posted February 28, 2023 Thanks guys. It's worth the time spent on it.
bogger44 Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 I concur with everyone's comments, an excellent build of a tough old kit. Definitely one of the best ones I've seen built.
mustang1989 Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 You really nailed it with this one Lee. That sure is a pretty ride with a beautiful interior.
roadhawg Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 First chance I've had to log on here and see her on the big screen, and I think it's absolutely beautiful! Hats off sir, to a job well done!
Classicgas Posted March 2, 2023 Author Posted March 2, 2023 Thanks guys. Well seeing it on a big screen outta show every flaw lol.
David G. Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 You've built a great looking version of a troublesome kit! David G.
ewetwo Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 That is stunning. Love the color choice. Makes you think of summer and riding in a convertible.
1959 Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Great job! I built also one as a teenager and it became terrible. Dismatled after few years and after 25 years I found it again. Rebuilt became better but not as nice as the one here. It sure is a tricky model. And as an owner of 1:1 59 Ford all small incorrect things in the Revell model jumps up.
ATHU Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Looks absolutely amazing, excellent job and spot on color choice!! I have one of these in my stash and when I opened the box I was a bit surprised to see it was multi piece body type of kit. Looks like it could be a difficult one to build!
