magicmustang Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 (edited) Here's a build I put together using leftover parts from other kits. Body, engine, interior, wheels and chassis are from an MPC 4x4 Deserter truck. Suspension and tires are from an AMT Stones Ford 4x4 truck. Paint is Testors rattlecan Firey Orange Lacquer. Let me know what you think. Edited March 12, 2023 by magicmustang 11
espo Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 I think it looks great. Like your color and the finish looks nice and smooth. Clean chrome trim and body details and even got the wheel opening moldings. 1
Nacho Z Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 Great job on this, Gerald! I could see this driving around my hometown back in the day! 1
Chirps Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Looks great! Nothing better than a parts box build to get the creative juices flowing. 1
Rob Hall Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Sharp build...love those '70s-80s MPC pickups. 1
