Lunajammer Posted April 12, 2023 Author Posted April 12, 2023 Chassis is assembled. Here is an idea I'm totally stealing from Pat Minarick, with all due respect to him. Using a small plastic spoon for a seat. It's not full size, it's the size spoon you get when sampling ice cream from a vendor. Seems to fit the gluteus maximus of my little farmer dude. 3

Lunajammer Posted April 17, 2023 Author Posted April 17, 2023 I made a gas tank using small diameter PVC pipe and evergreen. For the ends I cut a couple disks from sheet plastic and firmly pressed them into the carpet with a screwdriver handle to give them a little concave shape.
Lunajammer Posted April 17, 2023 Author Posted April 17, 2023 (edited) A few days of playing with washes with mixed results I finally finished it this weekend and struggled to get some decent photos after the natural light faded from my room. The floor is made of coffee stir sticks which scale out to be 2x6 planks. I had my 1/25 resin farmer dude figure to keep reminding me how small this vehicle is. It's easy to think it's bigger than it is without a human reference. Check out the finished, glamour shots here. Edited April 18, 2023 by Lunajammer 9

Bugatti Fan Posted January 16, 2024 Posted January 16, 2024 A very nice project resulting in a very original model. To anyone contemplating a semi scratch build, because it is quite angular and can take advantage of readily available shaped Plastruct or Evergreen extrusion it would be a good introduction to making a start in scratch building. 1
Tom Geiger Posted January 16, 2024 Posted January 16, 2024 Super scratch building and finishing! I started one years ago and it's still sitting. I love your solution for the seat 1
Big John Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 just needs a winged rad cap, but what a fun project, great weathering! 1
stavanzer Posted February 18, 2024 Posted February 18, 2024 A great Little Build. Good on you you for pushing through and getting it finished. 1
PatW Posted February 18, 2024 Posted February 18, 2024 Superb! Great rear wheels as well as everything else! 1
