Silvercreeker Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Done! Hands down my favorite build yet! This is from the AMT Fruitwagon kit. Wanted to build a typical early 70’s hotrod. 1925 TBucket, 368 Lincoln Y Block motor, tangerine flame lacquer paint, aftermarket VCG Resins air cleaner and Tiki shifter, and an early 60’s NY plate. This kit came out in 1969, and I remember as a kid looking at it at in the hobby shop in Silver Creek and thinking how cool it would be to build it. Over 50 years later, I did it justice! 1
Oliver77 Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Looks great. I especially like the headers. Hope you reversed the steering gearing!

Bainford Posted April 13, 2023 Posted April 13, 2023 Cool period bucket. You nailed it. I loved these T buckets when I was a kid. It's been 45 years since I built one, might soon be time to build another. Very nice work on yours. 1
espo Posted April 13, 2023 Posted April 13, 2023 Great looking T-Bucket. Beautiful looking paint work and colors. Clean chrome trim.

TarheelRick Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 Been perusing a stack of mid 50's to early 60's Rod & Custom magazines and I could swear I saw one just like this in one of them. What I am saying is this T-Bucket fits the style of that time frame. It is one cool hot rod. BTW where did those front tires come from? 1

(5 bucks at Walmart)
