Done!  Hands down my favorite build yet!
This is from the AMT Fruitwagon kit. Wanted to build a typical early 70’s hotrod. 1925 TBucket, 368 Lincoln Y Block motor, tangerine flame lacquer paint, aftermarket VCG Resins air cleaner and Tiki shifter, and an early 60’s NY plate. This kit came out in 1969, and I remember as a kid looking at it at in the hobby shop in Silver Creek and thinking how cool it would be to build it. Over 50 years later, I did it justice!

Looks great. I especially like the headers. Hope you reversed the steering gearing!

Yes, Vega steering box!  (Ran a t bucket in the early 80’s)

Cool period bucket. You nailed it. I loved these T buckets when I was a kid. It's been 45 years since I built one, might soon be time to build another. Very nice work on yours.

Been perusing a stack of mid 50's to early 60's Rod & Custom magazines and I could swear I saw one just like this in one of them. What I am saying is this T-Bucket fits the style of that time frame.  It is one cool hot rod. BTW where did those front tires come from?

The front tires came in the Coke 49 Plymouth. (5 bucks at Walmart)
