Very nice build with incredible paint finishes; please share how you achieved that look to the paint on the trunk lid and over most all of the body... (I don't need to know about that Blue front fender because that's the one painted area I think I know how you got the finish)!

James, incredible job with the detailing on this Chevy. From the rust to the worn paint, to the stitching on the seats and all the other subtle touches. The thing I noticed first was how you lapped the window trim so as to look like the 1:1 pieces. You should be proud to display this one, Great Job.

Very nicely done.

The 62 to 65 Nova and Chevy II's are my favourite of these cars.

The weathering is spot on. Makes it look very realistic as a well used back yard budget match racer.

cheers, Graham

This is the most interesting execution of this kit that I’ve seen. You’ve mastered the fine art of scale model weathering (“less is more”!). This build is so good I wanna copy it! The good old days of shoe-string back-yard built racers with day-jobs drag racing. All that’s missing are some wheelie bars made out of stolen shopping cart parts! Love it!

That is a masterpiece in weathering! Not to mention build quality and execution. It takes way more effort to produce a "patina effect",  than a nice shiny paint job (probably why I haven't attempted one, lol).

Can't add much to the compliments already stated.  I really like this build, it is just so realistic in so many ways. This is some expert craftsmanship. The only thing I see missing is a SEGA sticker on the side.  This car would fit right in with that organization.
