cjmin75 Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 (edited) Hello all, Just finished Revell's '69 Camaro Z/28 RS. Used Model Car Garage's etching parts and painted with Lemans blue metallic. Any comments are welcome! Edited July 17, 2023 by cjmin75 12
ncbuckeye67 Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 Very clean build, and excellent paint! I do believe that your Brake Master Cylinder is sideways, though. The two "U" shaped clamps are what hold the lid on, and should be on top (not trying to be critical). I do have a question though. What glue do you use for the P/E emblems? I've tried superglue, but it "clouds" the emblems, and doesn't look right when I do it.
XYHARRY Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 Nice Camaro Jung, those photo etch parts make a big difference to the end result. Well done. Cheers, David. ??
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 Great! Looks like a real car. Trim and color are super.
Jim B Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 Great looking Camaro. It pairs well with the Mustang.
espo Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 Beautiful looking Camaro and like that you used the optional Rally Sport grill. Cleanly done exterior trim and interior.
ksnow Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 Great looking Camaro. Color and detail look very sharp.
Hi-Po Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 Beautifully done with great paint work and detailing. I like it.

Regarding P/E, I recently use a spray glue after trying several glues. Slightly stray on the other surface of P/E. It will work exactly like aftermarket metal sticker. 1
Rattlecan Dan Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 Super Job! Very realistic detail and paint job. Thanks for posting.
happy grumpy Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 This is one nice clean Camaro. The paint and trim are awesome.

Thanks for the tip, I will try that next time.
Oldriginal86 Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 Very nice build. The wiper arms and blades are the most realistic I’ve seen. Beautiful paint in my favorite color.
kelson Posted July 18, 2023 Posted July 18, 2023 Looks very nice!!,nice to see you painted the cowl vents, i've seen so many builds where that has been missed.
karbuildr Posted July 18, 2023 Posted July 18, 2023 Beautiful Camaro, the color is excellent and your detailing is just as nice.
Dragonhawk1066 Posted July 18, 2023 Posted July 18, 2023 Fantastic looking Camaro, and a great color and paint job!
