Spruslayer Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Just wraped this one up Nice kit with few issues other than having a badly warped hood and a dickens of a time getting the front windsheild in Done in craft paints with Rust-oleum gloss and matt clear Thanks for looking 15
leafsprings Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Fantastic job! Very clean build and excellent detail work. The deluxe tu tone looks perfect on this and the colors looks spot on to factory Yuma Yellow and Wimbledon White. Really like the 8 lug wheel details. IMO, the best Moebius kit to date! 1
Spruslayer Posted September 2, 2023 Author Posted September 2, 2023 Jim,Tommy thank you. The Wimbledon white i hit fairly close The yellow i was shooting for was Tampico yellow but i missed that one , but dident even notice how close it is to Yuma yellow till Tommy pointed it out and i looked at the color chart on the instructions!
espo Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Great looking build. The paint looks great as does all the trim and the plow detailing.
ncbuckeye67 Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 That is one good- looking truck! I love the two-tone paint, and the attention to detail. These trucks look so good in a two-tone paint job, it seems wrong to do one color.
bill lanfear Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Very nice! Love the color combo and clean work! 1
jdhog Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 That's sweet! Looks ready for the first big snow. I need to get me some of those Moebius kits. 1
Spruslayer Posted September 14, 2023 Author Posted September 14, 2023 Larry,Bill Trevor and Joe,Thanks for the looks and complements Joe,Moebius make some fine kits This is the first one i had a problem with the warped hood but they sent a replacement so all is well now. I have the 67 F-350 ramp truck,1956 Chrysler 300B and the 1961 Pontiac Ventura plus the classic Batman collection. Still waiting on Batgirl to be released to round out that collection. I want to get to the vehicles soon but i suffer from the classic "so many models,So little time" syndrom
Rattlecan Dan Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 Extremely realistic looking build. Seen a lot of these every winter in upstate NY. Nice work. 1
Bills72sj Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 You have done a fine job there. Did the tires come in the kit? 1
NOBLNG Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 Really great looking truck Mike! You nailed it.? 1
