Chuck Most Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 AMT reissue. The box says it's a 1994, but the non-airbag steering wheel says it's a 1993, so I'm going with that. The Budnik wheels, tires, and steering wheel are from the custom AMT 1967 Impala. I added a multifunction stalk and gear selector to the steering column. The engine was converted to look like a Clevor (Windsor block with Cleveland heads) with AMT NASCAR Thunderbird heads and valve covers. The custom intake comes with the Lightning kit. The truck is lowered a bit and painted with Testors White Lightning. The Ford oval on the tailgate and F-150 fender badges are from Rays Kits Decals. 11
espo Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Very clean looking finishes. The wheels seem right at home on this body style.
kelson Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Very nice! the white paint with those wheels really works!!?
ncbuckeye67 Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 Wow, I love it! It's nice to see another color. Everyone wants to do red or black on these.

I almost painted it Grabber Orange since I had no intention of keeping it factory stock anyway, but using a color called White Lightning on a Lightning was just irresistible. 1

Rattlecan Dan Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 Nicely unique. Good looking build. Clean and fast!
Scott8950 Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 Nice build. I used to own a 94 lightning and i can tell you firsthand that truck COULD NOT pass up a gas station. I think my truck got somewhere around 10/12 mpg.
dino246gt Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Nice! In some pictures it looks so real! I love it!!
