Chuckyg1 Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 This is one of my al time favorite cars, and I finally got around to replicating it. Except for wheels and tires, it's OOB. the paint is Testors bronze lacquer. While researching,I found a lot of different chrome treatments. Some had only the drip rails and some included the entire window surrounds as well. I opted to do just the vent windows. I thought it gave a cleaner look. This was a fun build and I think it came out pretty good. Comment and critiques are welcomed. Thanks for looking. 7
espo Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Great looking Nova SS. The paint looks nice and smooth. Clean looking engine and chassis detailing. The chrome moldings around the side windows that you mentioned were an extra cost option as were the wheels you used here.

AMT68 Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 Turned out great. Paint color is attractive and the panel lines look to be blackwashed nicely. Looking forward to building this kit soon for the first time.
Zippi Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 The Nova looks pretty good. I'm likiing it. NIce job.
ncbuckeye67 Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 My favorite Nova model too! I really love the bronze, what a great color choice!
drodg Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 Very nice. I like the wheels that would have been optional and really like the thin wsw tires. Great job.
karbuildr Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 Excellent Nova build. Great choice of color and the optional wheels really look good, nice details in the engine compartment too.
Ricker81 Posted November 22, 2023 Posted November 22, 2023 Really nice looking model. The time and attention spent on those panel lines really paid off. You got it down to an art. Always appreciate someone who understands panel line works and what it can do. Well done
