Yeah Nah Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 Just finished this set. The 65 Chevelle Wagon kit is not a bad one but the alleged 327 and engine bay cries out for some major improvement that I'll look at with a future build (maybe). Tyres and tools are from various sources while the trailer and hitch is from the MPC 76 Chevy Caprice. Chopped 'T' dragster is from a Round 2 'Tall T' Double Kit issue from a while back. Thanks for looking! 9
ncbuckeye67 Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 Wow, what a great looking combo! The paint is flawless, and the extra details are amazing! 1
Flatout Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 Beautiful work Garry! The Coupe and trailer look very nice but the wagon got my attention immediately, one of the best builds of this kit I have seen. The detailing is exceptional …how did you do the emblems and script on the body? 2
70 Sting Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 All 3 pieces are excellent. Always impressed with builders who do such a nice jobs on chrome, badges and scripts. 1

The beauty of this paint is any boo-boos can be picked off with a toothpick after it dries.

TransAmMike Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 Wow Garry, great and impressive work!!? 1
TarheelRick Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 Excellent drag combo. Love the '65 Chevelle wagon (love all 65 Chevelles, even the 4dr 300), very clean build. Also very neat build of the coupe and trailer. 1
espo Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 I agree with everyone else, this is a beautiful tow rig for a weekend outing at the drags. The paint finish and the body trim on the wagon are a real standout. The trailer has a good realistic finish on it. The chopped top T coupe looks great and cleanly detailed as well. 1
happy grumpy Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 Beautiful duo. The Chevelle and rod make a nice pair. great job on both. 1
AMT68 Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 That wagon looks super nice as does the dragster. The two tone seats are nice touch and the trim and emblems are done very well. 1
bogger44 Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Now that is one terrific looking combo! Exceptionally clean building style all around. Love the stripe on the roof of the coupe, it compliments the car well. 1
Jonathan Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 That is amazingly clean work! Just beautiful 1
Zippi Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 That is really kewl Garry. Both builds look nice. 1
karbuildr Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Garry, you knocked this out of the park. Both these builds, and the trailer, look very nice. I really like the 65 Chevelle wagon, very nicely detailed. The Model T drag machine is very well done and your details are excellent on it as well. 1
XYHARRY Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 Great combo there Garry, it looks very period correct. The 65 Chevelle looks very similar to the Aussie 65 Holden HD station wagon, perhaps as they are both GM products. Really well done and thanks for sharing. Cheers, David. ?? 1
Rattlecan Dan Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 Wow! Great looking Duo there Garry. Both outstanding looking builds. Excellent chrome work and detailing. Nice job. 1
