spencer1984
A couple more builds have been added to my Simpsons collection, first up is the Canyonero. I started with Lindberg's old 1/20 Ford Explorer, since it was a decent shape and sufficiently oversized to look the part. Unfortunately, the plastic was very brittle and so extremely fiddly to try to modify - not sure if it's just the age of the kit, or if they were using a lousy formula at the time. I had a Revell Cougar that was released and built around the same time as this kit that had a similar plastic issue. Converted to a 4-door, added a 3D printed nose, modified the engine to a small block V8, and used wheels & tires frm MPC's Fall Guy GMC. A full writeup is available here, and as always any comments/criticisms are welcome!
