cifenet Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 Nicely weathered truck you got there! It shows the truck has been providing its faithful service many many years. That half hanging front license plate is a nice touch. Thanks for sharing the work! 1 1
Warren D Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 Well done, with some of the best weathering I've seen! 1 1
'70 Grande Posted January 4, 2024 Posted January 4, 2024 Stunning work here! Your modifications, detail, paint and weathering work are all exceptionally good. I have always wondered what motivated the truckers of the day to nickname these "Crackerboxes"... curious if it was just the way these cabovers felt like after logging a few hundred miles in one or if there's more to that nickname. 1 1

As war as I know they were called Crackerbox due to their squared-off styling and strange proportions. 1
carsntrucks4you Posted January 4, 2024 Author Posted January 4, 2024 Again I want to thank you for you comments 1
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted January 4, 2024 Posted January 4, 2024 Absolutely beautiful! Excellent work!! The weathering is perfect!! 1 1

It would have been called a biscuit tin in GB. There was a Foden we used to call a Mickey Mouse because it was shaped like his head. 1
Repstock Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 Really nice looking truck. Just like my Ford W, this kit renders my scratchbuilt GMC obsolete. I do think this model was built very well. looks great! 1
Michael F Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 Very cool model, nice weathering! Sehr geil, Micha !! 1

1959scudetto Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 As ugly as the original truck is (to me), as excellent is your model, Michael: super nice build with perfect weathering - it looks like the real deal, can easily be mistaken for a real truck with the right background (as your photos proof here) - awesome ! 1
Sam I Am Posted July 25, 2024 Posted July 25, 2024 Nice work, I enjoyed building my day cab version . 1
leafsprings Posted July 28, 2024 Posted July 28, 2024 Great job on this classic, like the paint scheme, weathering and wheel choice, very inspiring build! Have the day cab version, need to start it someday. 1
Biggu Posted July 28, 2024 Posted July 28, 2024 Beautiful, just enough dirt and dust, and a little grease.... love it ! Jeff
