I am really liking that paint job, along with the combo for the interior colour. Nice work so far.

I appreciate it dude.  Blue is my favorite color so you know I'm diggin it.

looking good! Too bad you had to paint it twice. Second time is always better in most cases and that's what you got here. Clean looking build so far!

My obliged man.  Yup, the second time around I know what not to do.

I now have a rolling chassis and I also shot the clear on the body this morning.  I didn't like the color of the tires so I shot them with the Tamiya TS-82 Black Rubber.  I let the body set for a couple hrs to let the clear level out a little on its own.  I now have it in the Dehydrator where it will be for about 6 hrs.  It takes a long time for the Tamiya X-22 Clear to totally cure out before wet sanding and polishing.

Chassis look awesome Bob!   What color did you on your seats and door panels?  I been looking for a color like that, Bob"..

That's Rust-Oleum paint.  Satin Warm Caramel.

Looks killer Bob!!! Very nice chassis. I need to get some of Tamiya’s rubber paint, thanks for reminding me… Really looking forward to seeing this come together.

Thanks Steve.  Yeah, that Tamiya TS-82 Black Rubber really does make the tires look much better.

I got the body wet sanded and polished out this morning.  It did not turn out as good as I would have hoped for.  It still has some orange peel.  I wet sanded with 4000, 6000, 8000, and 12000.  I then polished and wax it.  I'm always afraid of burning through when wet sanding.  Don't ask me how I know.

Well...this morning I'm going to work on the 41 and I'm undecided on the trim.  Do I bmf the side body trim and window trim or just the body trim and do the front and rear window trim in a matt black to look like the rubber seal???
