Watertown Posted February 19, 2024 Posted February 19, 2024 Going through some projects that have been stalled for far too long, this project among them. In an effort to clear the deck, I'm opting to forego the added detail of plug wires, plumbing etc., and instead completing them straight from the box. (I did add flocking for carpet, but otherwise only what was available in the kit. Paint is Model Car World 2706 Lt. Burnt Orange Metallic (57 Chevy Sierra Gold). The kit is incredibly detailed, and was a pleasure to complete. Enjoy! 11
AMT68 Posted February 19, 2024 Posted February 19, 2024 Outstanding work. Color is perfect for that car. 1
happy grumpy Posted February 19, 2024 Posted February 19, 2024 Beautiful paint job, the trim is super clean. Excellent job. 1
espo Posted February 19, 2024 Posted February 19, 2024 Beautiful looking paint finish and the color is a personal favorite for the '56 & '57 Chevys. Cleanly done body trim and the interior looks very OEM. 1
Chuckyg1 Posted February 19, 2024 Posted February 19, 2024 As those above me have said, nice clean build. Great choice of color. 1
TransAmMike Posted February 19, 2024 Posted February 19, 2024 Ohhh man that prrrr-ty. Love my '57's. Great job Mike? What kit is that? 1

It's the Revell kit from 8-9 years ago. Nice kit. The only thing I wish they had done differently, would have been to have the grille and center light bar be separate components. A bit difficult to detail the grille with so much molded in content. Thanks for the comments. Edited February 19, 2024 by Watertown
