I'm a sucker for the Colonnades ! A '74 Monte would cover quite a few bases :
- "Luxocruiser" types
- Lowrider builders
- Last of the big engines without California Converters cars

I can fore see an Olds Cutlass Supreme variation , too.

You could make a ‘74 using the Revell ‘77 Monte Carlo low rider and a ‘74 conversion kit by Canuck 3D.

I’ve finally acquired all the parts and decals for the “Here comes the Judge” 57 T-bird so I won’t be surprised if it gets reissued lol.

Like taking an umbrella to a ballgame, or sunglasses to the beach. That said, I know Steve is a fan of the T-Bird and HCDJ, so anything is possible with support and funding.

Hey, can we get back to what is currently announced and in progress?

Maybe wish lists could be its own thread.

As an FYI, literally EVERY thread that starts as a "new release prediction" thread turns into a dream/wishlist thread.

Every. Single. Time.

O please - please do the '68 Bel Air two door. Having owned one with the 427 and 4 - speed, to get around the insurance rates of the time, had rally wheels and factory A/C and the factory 8 track built into the bottom of the dash.

I believe Johann did a '75 Oldsmobile Cutlass

Some of them can be retooled from existing molds such as the '49 Mercury can be updated to a "51, the '49 Ford coupe or the '50 Ford convertible can be updated to a 51 and turned into a 4 door, the '57 Chevy Cameo pickup can be updated to a '58, the '69 Corvair can be backdated for the '65-'67's, the '70 Ford can be updated to a '72

the '74 and '75 Cutlass grilles are incorrect; a '73 442 would be the most appropriate choice of the three years

I thought this thread started with what amounts to a wish list?

One of the vendors at the Spirit of Speed show on Sunday had a bunch of resin 49-50 Ford 4-door bodies for sale.

I wouldn't wait for Round2, Moebius or Revell for anything on that list - the 3D print makers and resin casters will have them long before the big manufacturers would.

AMT made promotional model cars of the 1949-1951 Ford Custom 4-door sedan.  They come with mirrored metal 'glass' inserts since there is no interior.  Remote control and windup versions were also available.  If you are patient, you can find nice examples without warpage.

The AMT '49 sedan promos come in two versions. The early ones have suicide rear doors and no gas cap:

I have this early version in my pile, the grille, bumpers, & wheel cover are metal...

I'd imagine the 64 Corvair might be a good one to retool as they've done the Chevy II wagon and are redoing the Barracuda and the 60 Chevy wagon. Maybe they could surprise us and do a coupe and a wagon version. Do they have the same wheelbase?

The '60 Chevy station wagon would use the same chassis as the '59 Chevy El Camino that's been reissued many times, they do make a '66 Barracuda racecar, a '69 Barracuda & a '70 Cuda, as far as the '64 Corvair Monza Spyder goes that hasn't been produced since '64, I've been wanting a '63 Monza coupe and a '64 Corvair Greenbrier Deluxe

May be an image of motorcycle, jeep and text

Oh Yeah! That Ford looks like a Winner to me! I'd buy a few.
