Spent a little time on the Deuce Town Car's flathead engine... @Speedpro dropped a few parts in the mail and encouraged me to get started on the assembly.

This is coming together so naturally you'd think it was 1) actually made by Ford and 2) that there was a kit made of it! Seeing this at ACME was amazing enough, but seeing the construction of the body, the drive train, interior construction AND finish just sends this into a class all it's own.....

Tell me buddy, exactly WHAT brand of paint chips did you munch on as a youngster?? Was it PPG, Ditzler, S-W?.....I need to go get me some !! ;)

AWESOME work!!!

LEAD! As a child of the '50s that's all we had! Playing outside 'til dark, riding old bikes - yup! No helmets, either! Getting a drink from a garden hose & running barefoot from early morning until called in for dinner! -KK

WoW! This has been an absolutely astonishing build! I had first happened upon it on facebook, but, got lost somehow. I am so glad I happened upon it here on the forum! I really am impressed with what You have done with all of those kits with this! WOW! Curious, will You be leaving the rims as is? They look good with that interior. I almost hate to see this one finish. Thank You for sharing with Us here. But, I will be looking forward to more updates! Take Care, Be Safe, God Bless, Later

The radiator has to be set in place before the hoses can be attached to establish the location of the heads! Then the plug wires can be hooked up. -KK
