I've built much more detailed so-called "contest models", but this one was just a styling exercise. Happy you like it, and please feel free to try someting of your own. What could go wrong with a beautiful design to start with? LOL Here's one more side view. CT Thank you, @Claude Thibodeau; the more angles we see this from, the more there is to love. Agreed; sometimes going curbside or full slammer is the only way to keep a major body restyling project from getting out of hand. While a similar roofline treatment could be applied to virtually any car, there seems to be none better-suited I can think of than the 70 Eldo. The vertical slope of the rear window profile, matched with the trunk and taillights, is very pleasing to the eye. Looks quite natural; like it should've come from the factory this way. In fact, comparing your design to a factory Eldo, your greenhouse has a really nice balance over the rear wheel arches. While the original's roofline is quite sporty, yours is the sportiest! Model built by @RandyB.

The smooth body work that flows between the different design elements along with the paint work looks great. The hatchback design is really well done and looks like, why wouldn't that work? Thank you! Design VP Bill Mitchel used to have one of his favorite designs "customized" by the design team for his personnal use. I like to think he may have liked that styling exercise. And the thing would have ended at Barret-Jackson, ultimately... LOL ct 1

You have a knack to come up with really interesting designs. this one is really interesting, so many source materials and they all fit as if they were intended for that specific model. Has a definite concept car vibe to it. Magnifique! Salut Mario! Well, to your point: me too, I'm always wondering what I'll come up with next...LOL... Somehow, things keep popping up! I'm finishing a couple more creations that, hopefully, will make you smile. Stay tuned! CT
