bogger44 Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Finished this one up last weekend. It's the first Aoshima kit I've built and it went together pretty smoothly. Though, I did bugger up the side windows a little bit unfortunately. She's completely box stock other than the license plate decal. Hosed down in Tamiya TS-22 Light Green and polished out. I left all the LW decals off for a cleaner look. This was a nice change of pace from my usual 60's & 70's American iron builds. Thanks for lookin' and any comments or questions. 14
1hobby1 Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Looks great with out the decals. Good play! Great build!
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Wicked! Have not started building mine yet. I'm tending to think the same way about the decals. Maybe only a very few for me. Your color is sharp.
Nacho Z Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 There should be a warning about having to wear sunglasses to view this post!! ?. Very cool! I like these Liberty Walk kits and that paint job really sets this one off. I agree with you that the “no decals” look really works on this one. Great job, Tony!
BK9300 Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Great paint, well detailed interior and aggressive looking tires/wheels. Is the “Pirelli” lettering decals or stencil painted?
karbuildr Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Very eye catching color, it looks fast sitting still. I like it without the decals too.
espo Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Beautiful looking paint and trim along with the interior detailing.
bogger44 Posted August 29, 2024 Author Posted August 29, 2024 Thanks a lot guys. Maybe I should have put a warning in the title about the bright color LOL. 16 hours ago, BK9300 said: Great paint, well detailed interior and aggressive looking tires/wheels. 70 Sting Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 Super clean build. ? Wish that kit wasn’t so expensive.
Zippi Posted September 1, 2024 Posted September 1, 2024 Pretty sharp looking Lambo there Tony. Boy, that Tamiya TS-22 Light Green just grabs your attention right off the bat. Nice build.
bogger44 Posted September 5, 2024 Author Posted September 5, 2024 Thanks again guys, and I agree, that I wish this kit (and their others) were a little cheaper.
