Porsche Boxster

Tamiya 24187; I wanted the color to be as close to the box as possible. The paint I used is a nationally made acrylic from a bookstore.

I think the box art is supposed to represent the colours of the car used when the Boxster was launched, so I think it's supposed to be Arctic Silver with the Boxster Red interior. In reality, Boxster Red is sort of an odd orange-y red. 

But I think your choices match the box art perfectly, and I think your interior colour choice is better than Boxster Red.

Nice, I really like the textile feel of the cockpit, I have a 987 and it's very cozy, probably wouldn't last long without that sound deadening.

Fun to see this. I had the real car in those colors and interior and the optional factory hardtop. I some have said, the Boxster Red is a bit orange/ terra cotta. On my car it was great and your color is fairly close. Haven't built my kit yet as I'm still in the planning stage to try to get close to my real car, an S model. There are a few differences.

Really great job on this one. I have some great memories with a car in the exact same color combination from 2000.  (not my car) We got chased by State police together with a Porsche like this on our way to the F1 race in Indianapolis. Biggest ticket I've ever received. I was young and stupid and absolutely deserved it.
