Falcon Ranchero Posted November 23, 2024 Posted November 23, 2024 This is Revell's 2009 issue of the 1960 Impala kit. Picked it up in downtown Traverse City this past October. It had been attempted to be built, but the previous owner only got as far as basic engine components glued together, and had sprayed all the suspension parts. I turned it into more of a car that would've been owned by like a kid in the late '60s or early '70s. I robbed the redline tires off my Coca Cola '77 Ford Van, and the rims were extra's that came with my '66 GTO kit. Also the side pipes came from my 1962 Pontiac Catalina kit which I have yet to build. The steering wheel was an extra that came from my '66 Chevelle kit. 9
gman Posted November 23, 2024 Posted November 23, 2024 Very nice. Those colours look great together, and the build has a nice period look. 1

espo Posted November 23, 2024 Posted November 23, 2024 Great looking paint colors and finishes. You captured the style of the day with the extra styling that you added. Your photography shows the stance and the way these cars looked at the time. 1
