I had to laugh when UPS wanted to charge me extra to drop a shipment at one of their stores after the online tracker repeatedly said my address didn't exist...and the silence that followed the rest of the phone conversation when I told the nice lady in India that UPS had repeatedly delivered to the "nonexistent" address over the last 10 years, which she was able to verify from her terminal

You couldn't make this stuff up.

"Smart systems" and AI are really pretty useless when it comes to thinking at all out of the box, just like most humans.

Speaking of delivery people. Had our FedEx driver loose his pants walking to our door this afternoon. Guess on his salary he can't afford a belt.

I have an order on the way from Hobbylinc. Not here yet but got an email today saying "we hope you are enjoying your recent order". I'm guessing this just goes out automatically so no big deal but it did give me a chuckle.

Frank (our Dachshund) is a food mooch fan moreso than my other two dogs.  He was staring at me eating my burger so I gave him a clump of blue cheese that had fallen off.  Yeah he was kinda rethinking that one!  He still ate it but the look on his face was like giving a small child a Sour Patch Kid candy.....

Our Lab, may he RIP, used to set near the table when we ate and would drool a puddle on the floor watching us. He wouldn't touch his food until we were finished even though we would feed him first. He would hold out for any grease or juices left over from the preparation of our dinner that my wife would dribble over his dried whatever they called his dog food.

Watched the goofy Dodge Charger commercial. I believe the blonde at the very end is Pamela Austin in case anyone cares. I say this because I was in deep smit with her back in the day. She was on Love American Style and an Elvis Presley movie..... Probably more but I'm old now and that was a long time ago. 🙂
