obs.caleb Posted April 3 Posted April 3 This is going to get hated on but honestly I like the carolina squat mod on trucks it looks cool but like many mods serve no purpose or advantages. 1
iamsuperdan Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Definitely unpopular, but I'm not even secretly liking it. I'm fully out and liking these. EV conversions on classics. 2
Cool Hand Posted April 3 Posted April 3 (edited) I like big wheel cars, when they have good wheel fitment. I hope to build a scale model inspired by this car sometime in the future. Edited April 3 by Cool Hand 3

ksnow Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Rear window louvers. A whole lot of them on 80s F-Bodies and Mustangs. Don't see them much any more, I always liked them. 2
SpeedAndViolence Posted April 4 Posted April 4 (edited) Flared fenders on 60's/70's era muscle cars.... I absolutely love the SCCA T/A look... Edited April 4 by SpeedAndViolence 5
catpack68 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 I know a lot of people don’t like them, but I really like the 71-75 Impala/Caprice Classic(Donks) with the bigger wheels/tires. As long as the wheels are not too big and they are done in good taste.I even have plans to build a couple of them. 2
Goose1957 Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I always hated those fake spare tires on the back of '80's Cadillac Seville's. Although, now they take me back to a simpler time. Jeff 4

These trucks some had metal framing in the front to hold them permanently like that I believe they was outlawed in Tennessee. Accidents and unstable at interstate speeds. I have not seen one in a while. https://www.hemmings.com/stories/squatted-trucks-banned/ Edited April 6 by slusher Add link

I've got the c1 trans kit for the smokey firebird but choosing wheels for it is tough. I want to build it and have everything except wheels ready for it but none are really floating the goat

They were outlawed in North Carolina also, based on the Ralph Nadar manifesto "unsafe at any speed". Always thought they were uglier than sin, and serve no useful purpose whatsoever.
rattle can man Posted April 14 Posted April 14 I'm looking for those custom VW parts from the Revell 1:25 beetle kit! I bought a kit from an online auction just to build that version, but the custom parts are MIA, except for the grille. If anyone has them, perhaps we can trade?
