Falcon Ranchero Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Raining as of now, but it’s cool since it’s melting the snow we got up here.
JollySipper Posted March 19 Posted March 19 I was just thinking earlier how nice of a day we're having.......... It's 80' right now with clear skies in southeast NC, and I'm very grateful for it. The dog loves it, too.........
Khils Posted March 19 Posted March 19 North Central Iowa..... 67 degrees & Sunny **yesterday**......Today 30 degrees, high wind warning, near state wide blizzard warning! RUDE!! 1

RUDE!! Pretty much the same here in eastern WI. We had a very warm Tuesday, then an inch and a half of rain at 37 degrees yesterday and 2-4 inches of windblown heavy, wet snow last night. 45 mph winds have turned the snow into ice drifts now.
forthlin Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Yesterday was a beautiful mostly sunny 70 degrees. Today a not so beautiful snowy 36 degrees here in Pierceton, In.

espo Posted March 20 Posted March 20 West KC Metro area was in the 70's and breeze on Tuesday, down to mid 30's Wednesday and trying it's best to spit snow. Thursday we're in the mid 50's. One thing about Spring is the weather can be interesting no matter where you live.
bobss396 Posted March 21 Posted March 21 (edited) 45 on the Island and windy, some rain. We have had a very cold winter, very few days over 40. And sustained high winds for days Spring is late. The forsythia has only started to bloom, the grass should have greened up by now. Edited March 22 by bobss396
TonyK Posted March 21 Posted March 21 Cold, wind and rain every day. Temperature never makes it to 50. Sick of it. 1
johnyrotten Posted March 21 Posted March 21 winter is back. had snow at 5:30 this morning, now just cold and windy. Two days ago was perfect motorcycle weather.
bobss396 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 35 this morning, sunny but raw. High winds yesterday... again. Not a sign of the yellow forsythia blooming. I watch this plant so i can start lawn care once the bloons fall off. Elsewhere I have seen the crocus popping up. Some buds on trees, not much else.
TonyK Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Yesterday was sunny, no wind or rain. Today we're back to the wind and rain. <sigh>

It's a lifestyle, LOL. Want me to send you some oranges from Northern California? (Just kidding, no malice intended.. Today's 80 degree weather made my Seattle-born-and-bred friend complain about hating summer here)
bobss396 Posted March 26 Posted March 26 38 F and raw. The windy days are less and less. If it tops 45 today, it will be a miracle. By now places like Ace Hardware should be hopping. Nobody is doing much outside, including me.

I probably will buy your oranges from the grocery store soon. The last few days have been sunny and in the 70's so I'm not complaining now. Lots of yardwork being done. 1
stavanzer Posted March 26 Posted March 26 In Bakersfield it was 94, yesterday at 4pm. Really Hot. Summer started too early this year. Happily a cooling trend starts today, so only 86 is forecast.
espo Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Got enough Patio Time in yesterday to get a slight red gloss to the face, arms and lower legs. The Chardonnay helped.
Belugawrx Posted March 26 Posted March 26 .....snowed today....-2C....30F...whatever Spring....more bench time !
