I thought that I would share my latest completed model with you.  This the Revell 2005 C6 Corvette.  Here is the link to the WIP thread in case you are interested.

My overall impression of the kit is a good one.  I would recommend it.  Fit was good, no flash to speak of, and it looks the part.  I wanted a dark blue Vette with red accents throughout.  There are pictures of the inspiration for this build in the WIP.  It is painted in Gravity Colors (Spain) Lexus LFA Liquid Blue.  The hood and roof are done in Scale Motorsports carbon fiber.  The kit's chrome wheels were stripped and painted in AK Interactive Xtreme Metals Metallic Smoke.  I felt this tied in with the CF decals quite well.  On to the pictures.  Let me know what you think!

Forgive me for a gratuitous picture.  I finished this model the night before the show.  I will admit that it was a smaller show, but I was very pleased with the results of its debut outing.

When we look at the first picture of a build and think it's a reference picture of the real car, then no doubt we have something very special. This replica is most lifelike. Thanks John for sharing it wit us.

John...really like your take on this kit.  Followed your WIP.  That liquid blue turned out spectacular.  Congratulations on an excellent completion.

You turned a Revell skill level 2 kit into a level 5.  Awesome paint and detail.  Congrats on your award. 2x👍

Beautiful looking paint finish and color. The Carbon Fiber roof and hood make an interesting contrast. Clean and well detailed interior and chassis.

That is a super nice build and you definitely earned that trophy. That two tone interior is done very cleanly.
