The only issue with the kit was the plastic.The plastic was washed and air dried , I used Tamiya paint and primer, the primer went on smooth but the paint kind of fogged in certain areas when dry. Light sanding with 400 and repaint made it better , but after doing this repaint 3x I knew I wasnt going to win I added clear and let it ride, you cant really tell where the area is but unless its pointed out . Some detailing in areas and call this showrod done. Let the rear door swing open to view the pup... 11
BIGTRUCK Posted April 1 Author Posted April 1 I actually forgot , the one thing I did add was a plate on the rear for the hydrant taillights and added a license plate, it covered up a big gap I didnt care for ..
TonyK Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Very nice job on this. It looks good despite your troubles. I built this model awhile back and had fun with it. Sometimes it's nice to not feel too serious about a build.
