oldcarfan Posted September 14 Posted September 14 I wonder if this kit will be compatible with the older mid 2000s Chrysler 300 kit? I can see some interesting kit bash possibilities!

Hawk312 Posted Sunday at 01:56 AM Posted Sunday at 01:56 AM Just a thought. Why not a Hellcat version of their Challenger?

Chances are hurt a bit with Round 2’s Challenger being a curbside. Still- I wonder why no 2015-up Challengers have ever been done as a regular model kit. These cars proved to be very popular in 1:1 (much more so than the classic first gen- there, I said it!) and there are a TON of model/hood/wheel/trim variations that could be done. Maybe now that Stellantis has permanently stopped production, we will finally get some more Challenger kits? 🤔

Going slightly off topic here, but there are definitely several modern subjects that would be popular in kit form, yet don't exist. 1

Interesting question you have. Maybe Round 2 sees that there is not much of difference in body features to do a 2015 + Challenger kit. Kind of like the AMT 67 Fairlane kit whereby Round 2 does not see any real significant differences between the 66 and 67 Fairlanes to do the 67. Just my guess.

Just my guess. Always been more of a fan of the '67 than of the '66 Fairlane, certainly in top level trim. Blame Otis Chandler. 😉

Ford F150, Dodge Ram, I could go on but you get the drift. A late model Accord and Civic. Any Lexus. Porsche Cayenne and maybe a Macan. And, trying not to get political, any model Tesla. Except that mobile dumpster the Cybertruck. Edited Tuesday at 04:49 AM by The Junkman 1

Found a 1/24-1/25-ish remote control toy which is not too bad for a start, but its panel lines are way too thick for my liking. Might even scratchbuild one outta sheet styrene. Take like 5 minutes. 1
The Junkman Posted Tuesday at 05:33 AM Posted Tuesday at 05:33 AM Saw one today in a blue/grey/black urban camouflage wrap-didn't help.
Mark C. Posted Tuesday at 02:32 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:32 PM Uh, yeah, that’s one that I wouldn’t be buying.
