Have not tried the clear yet, but I like the chrome.  I brushed it on with the enclosed brush.  I also like that it has an agitator ball included in the bottle.  Very easy to use and holds up to handling better than the other products I have tried.

Interesting product. I see it has a laquer top coat. Looking forward to see if it dulls the finish like other products I've read about. Cheaper than molotow as well.

Interesting product.

Looking at the rectangular shaped box in the photo, does it have two bottles in it. The chrome finish itself in one and clear sealant in another.

Ron, could you elaborate further with a step by step tutorial on how you used this product?  Looks very realistic.

I have used this using the air brush and the brush in the bottle. Looks as god as Revell chrome.

I haven't tried the sealer.

It looks good. My question is how durable is it, and can it be cleared with (something?) with little or no loss of appearance?

To clarify a couple things:  yes, it comes with 2 bottles;  one is the “chrome” and one is the clear;  the brushes are made into the cap;  the chrome is supposed to dry for 48 hrs before applying the clear.  I applied the chrome on these wheel backs a month ago and have intentionally handled them roughly, pressing my finger onto them with a lot of pressure, installing tires on them, etc., with no deleterious effects.  This was without the clear.  Today, I coated one of the wheel backs with clear (the one on the right with bubbles).  I shall leave it alone for a couple days then compare it to the uncoated one.  I also painted a couple resin wheels just as they come.

I cant wait to see how it looks once the clear settles. It would be interesting to see how/if it can be overcoated with coloured clears later. I've been hunting for a chrome that can be overcoated for my hok paints.

A couple of quick observations.  The wheel back that was clear coated doesn’t seem to have affected the shine.  When I took the cap off today, the brush didn’t come out with it.  I used a regular brush to apply it to a resin 53 Olds bumper.  The brush cleaned up fine with 91% alcohol.  The chrome paint showed up all the roughness on the bumper, so it is reasonably thin and shouldn’t hide detailed surfaces.  I took my finger and pressed hard against the wheel backs (cleared and plain) and wheels 5 or 6 times with no visible differences.  Les, I did spray some clear red over one of the wheel backs.  I will look at it later today.

No, the only bubbles were in the clear right after it was applied (due, no doubt, to my shaking the bottle).  Those bubbles went away shortly after.  There were no bubbles in the chrome that I saw.  As Les said, what you were seeing was the surfaces of the raw 3D printed pieces.  In retrospect, I probably should have used a flat sheet of styrene, but, hey, that’s what I had handy.

Looks like it is a much more durable option to Molotow, A!clad etc.

Very interested in trying this product.  It definitely looks like it can take some handling, and the fact the clear doesn't really dull it down is a big plus. 👍👍

I’m afraid this isn’t much help to your situation.  A bad piece to use for a color clear type coating, but here’s the result of the red Tamiya clear.

I appreciate you trying, thanks. I'm sure we'll have one that i'll be able to use soon. This looks to be better than the alternative paints for chrome anyway. I found the green stuff chrome went bad very quickly after opening. I think it was 3 months before it turned grey. I'm still using 3 year old large molotowe pens and its still bright.
