R. Thorne Posted Tuesday at 02:13 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 02:13 AM (edited) Since I was posting this on my 63 Corvette build, I thought I would throw it on here also. Hopefully the lighting is a little better on this post. This is another set of headers and the lower trim on the Corvette (brushed on with the original brush after i crammed it back on). Bainford Posted Tuesday at 05:39 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:39 PM Thanks for posting these trials, Ron. This stuff looks quite promising, for sure. One thing I will be interested in is seeing how well the stuff lasts in the bottle (shelf life). Only time will tell, of course.

Bainford Posted Wednesday at 06:23 PM Posted Wednesday at 06:23 PM Thanks Ron. Pretty good that they are willing to stand behind it for three years. That sounds better than Molotow, my pens having gone shiny grey after little more than a year.
Spooker Posted Thursday at 12:19 PM Posted Thursday at 12:19 PM Does anyone know what will clean a brush? Just ordered some of this and I'll need to apply it with a very small brush to detail HO slot cars. Brush in cap is WAY too big.

As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, my brush that I used cleaned up fine with 91% isopropyl alcohol. 1
R. Thorne Posted yesterday at 02:18 AM Author Posted yesterday at 02:18 AM One quick note: After a particularly thick coating on one piece, 2 days later it was still a bit sticky to the touch. Upon reading the instructions (yeah, I know, it’s always the last thing to do), it recommends putting the clear on after 72 hours. From now on, I will wait for 3 days drying time if the piece needs to be manhandled. 1
