R. Thorne Posted August 14 Author Posted August 14 Just to show how far the FusionFirm bottle goes, I decided to paint (with the enclosed brush) some wheels, bolt heads, shifters, etc. No primer, base coat, special cleaning was used. These parts were taken out of the package and painted. This was in addition to the previous work done on the Corvette. I have about 90% of the liquid left in the bottle. 7 4
FoMoCo66 Posted August 15 Posted August 15 (edited) I just got some of this stuff. Here are 2 coats on a 65 falcon rear bumper. Just one question, has anyone tryed this in an airbrush? Edited August 15 by FoMoCo66

Dave Van Posted August 15 Posted August 15 Just landed in mailbox. Applied to some spare parts....VERY NICE. If we can touch w/o damage a winner
Repstock Posted August 18 Posted August 18 In response to this post, I bought this product and tried it out, following the drying instructions. The results are superior to any other "chrome" treatment I've tried, including Revell. I used the enclosed clear over half the surface after the "chrome" had dried for three days. I can't see any real difference in the before and after, both sides look the same. There is no visible demarcation between the clear and not cleared side. This stuff looks great...very bright. Tests will continue. 3 3

johnyrotten Posted August 24 Posted August 24 Had to re-spray a front end so I tried the fusionfirm. Here it is compared to molotow. I'm happy with it. 1
Big John Posted August 24 Posted August 24 I was wondering how or if it would spray. Very impressive.

One thing I will be interested in is seeing how well the stuff lasts in the bottle (shelf life). Only time will tell, of course. I ordered some from Amazon and apparently it came from the future according to the manufacturer date 🤷♂️ *just realized I may have read the date wrong. 12/05/2025 is actually 05/12/2025??
