Just to show how far the FusionFirm bottle goes, I decided to paint (with the enclosed brush) some wheels, bolt heads,  shifters, etc.  No primer, base coat, special cleaning was used.  These parts were taken out of the package and painted.  This was in addition to the previous work done on the Corvette.  I have about 90% of the liquid left in the bottle.

This question was already answered by Len Woodruff earlier in this thread.  It is usually beneficial to read older posts of threads like this.

Shoot, I already read the whole thread. I've been following when it started, completely missed that.

In response to this post, I bought this product and tried it out, following the drying instructions. The results are superior to any other "chrome" treatment I've tried, including Revell. I used the enclosed clear over half the surface after the "chrome" had dried for three days. I can't see any real difference in the before and after, both sides look the same. There is no visible demarcation between the clear and not cleared side. This stuff looks great...very bright. Tests will continue.

I was wondering how or if it would spray.  Very impressive.

I'm pleased with how it sprayed. I think this is a pretty solid product so far, especially since I'm relatively new to airbrushing.

Thanks for posting these trials, Ron. This stuff looks quite promising, for sure.

One thing I will be interested in is seeing how well the stuff lasts in the bottle (shelf life). Only time will tell, of course.

I ordered some from Amazon and apparently it came from the future according to the manufacturer date 🤷‍♂️

*just realized I may have read the date wrong.
12/05/2025 is actually 05/12/2025??

Figured I'd add a bit of my experience so far. Biggest thing I've noticed is while it is more durable, it will take fingerprints before the laquer is applied. I think the heat from hands does it. Short term handling is no problem, I inadvertently had my thumb resting on it and back to square one. The other thing is,like most of the other products, the smoother the surface it goes on, the better it looks. Obviously. Also I noticed while cleaning my airbrush, there seems to be less "pigments" than molotow floating around.  Either way still a solid product for the price IMHO.

Had to re-spray a front end so I tried the fusionfirm. Here it is compared to molotow. I'm happy with it.

yea Keith, the US is one of the only [maybe only] country that writes down dates by month/day/ year. The rest of us go from smallest unit to largest day/month/year.

You can always tell when you get to 16/05/25.  Unless they ad a couple of months then we'll all be up a creek.

13th day of the month ad seq. (e.g., "13-5-2025" vs. "12-5-2025" ) is the easiest giveaway.

Today is 31-8-2025 , for an instance.

Nope, absolutly wrong. Smallest to largest unit is the logical way to go.  The rest of the world says so.

Just trolling you John. This is an arguement that's been going on sor dacades. 😉

It is always 4:20 somewhere in the world! And if you don't use the 24 hr clock you get it TWICE a day!

But we digress...
