I finished this up today. Its the Hasagawa 73 Toyota Celica GT Liftback kit. The color is Tamiya TS-9 British Green with Splash 2k clear.I added a scratch built front spoiler. The Work Meister S1 deep dish wheels and tires are from M3 Models. The muffler is 3-D printed from an unknown source. The interior features Mr.Model plaid decals,a 3-D printed Momo steering wheel and Gofer photoetched seat belt buckles with masking tape belts. I have fun building it and I will build more JDM cars in the future. Thanks for looking.

Those are nice kits, other than the motorized chassis and no engine.ย  ย Nice color choice!ย  Never heard of M3 Models before, the center of the lug nuts is a nice touch.
I would think these would be more popular, since they copied Mustang.ย  I built thisย Celexusย doing a body swap with a Lexus, kind of overkill.

Thanks! I found M3 models online while looking for the wheels.I donโ€™t think this was a motorized kit.Heres a pic of the chassis.

My mistake, eyes didn't see Hasagawa.ย  Now I "need" one of these kits too now.

Looks cool. Iโ€™m getting quite a โ€˜68 Bullitt Mustang vibe from this. Definitely from the colour but even the body shape and rear end. Nice detailing too ๐Ÿ‘

Smooth paint finish and like the dark green color. The wheels give this a more aggressive look.ย

Great looking build and very tasteful color and wheel choice.! Paint job looks excellent.

As an old american car guy I have lately found my self liking these earlier JDM cars and I have one of these kits too and it seems to be ofย  high quality. Too bad that Hasegawa kits don't have open hoods and engines. I have 3d printed engine waiting but it also needs the firewall and inner fenders so lot of work ahead but your build gives motivation.
