Zippi Posted August 28 Author Posted August 28 Well, things were going good until I got to the distributor. The kit distributor and my 3D printed distributor are both to close to the elongated air breather. No way I could run plug wires so I pulled off the kit 3 deuces and long air cleaner. I found a different 3 deuce setup that doesn't fit as good as I would like but it'll have to do. 7

David G. Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Bob, good call on the Titanium Silver for the wheels. They remind me of the old polished magnesium wheels. Great carb setup on the engine too. David G.

Maybe look for a 3d file for one. Just a thought 1

Zippi Posted August 30 Author Posted August 30 (edited) I got the distributor wired and installed. I shaved the emblem off the side of the hood. It was so faint that I didn't see a good way for me to make it look good. I'll look and see if I have any decals I could use in that area. I also puttied up the firewall and it will get sanded smooth. Edited August 30 by Zippi 6
Zippi Posted September 5 Author Posted September 5 The 55 Panel has been painted with the Tamiya Metallic Gray and I cleared it yesterday with Splash Paints 2K clear. I'm a little disappointed in this color as it has a little to much metallic flake in it. 6
TopherMcGinnis Posted September 5 Posted September 5 I didn't think there's such a thing as too much flake. FTW!(Flake The World!!!!)
espo Posted September 5 Posted September 5 I like the color and of course the finish as well. Maybe it will grow on you with time.
