ford fan Posted Wednesday at 09:27 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:27 PM Hello I have just completed this '59 Ford that I had bought years ago at Resin Realm. The kit has several errors : it features a rear bench seat, full wheel covers..., which are wrong for a business sedan. I corrected the interior by painfully removing the rear seat & scratch building a cargo rear area. I replaced the wheels covers by Revell's '57 dog dishes (they are identical). I chose an all-black color scheme because I wished to replicate a kind of moonshiners' car, a sleeper with a plain jane look but a powerful engine to deliver the booze & escape the cops. 16
espo Posted Wednesday at 11:01 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:01 PM Great looking finishes and like the base sedan body style.
Zippi Posted Wednesday at 11:11 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:11 PM That's pretty kewl looking. I like the basic look. Just don't see these much. 1
Stt226 Posted Thursday at 12:05 AM Posted Thursday at 12:05 AM Awesome build. I really love the blacked out look , I can definitely see a moonshiner driving through the night trying to lose the coppers in this thing !
Rattlecan Dan Posted Thursday at 02:42 AM Posted Thursday at 02:42 AM Looks like a plain clothes Cop car. Nice job.
STU111 Posted Thursday at 10:51 AM Posted Thursday at 10:51 AM Sinister, menacing. If that pulled up on my back bumper, I’d be a little nervous. Top stuff. 👍🏻
Kah puts Posted Thursday at 02:57 PM Posted Thursday at 02:57 PM It’s got a great vibe, nice clean build 👍
Bucky Posted Thursday at 05:17 PM Posted Thursday at 05:17 PM Great looking old Ford! Nice touch with the black Tennessee license plate, too!
Ragtop Man Posted Thursday at 07:23 PM Posted Thursday at 07:23 PM The Fuller Brush man... or a Babtis' minister come to call on Sunday to see how come Maw and Paw were not in the first row.
ford fan Posted Thursday at 07:47 PM Author Posted Thursday at 07:47 PM A big thank you to all of you !
