avidinha Posted Sunday at 06:22 PM Posted Sunday at 06:22 PM I made my a replica of my aunt's old Mustang. I have vague memories of her taking me and my older sister to see the Rose Bowl parade in it. I made it from the AMT '77 fastback kit. I cut the roof and trunk off a resin kit to convert it into a coupe. The closest things to the hubcaps I had were the wheels from a Prince Skyline. The tires are from a '70 Monte Carlo Lowrider with white walls drawn on with a gel pen. I printed the plates. The mirrors and gas cap are from my parts box. 17

Keef Posted Sunday at 08:23 PM Posted Sunday at 08:23 PM My first car was a 74 Mustang II . It was silver with a silver vinyl top and silver interior. Got it from my cousin for $100 after she wrecked it. It was just like this one
bh1701 Posted Sunday at 09:04 PM Posted Sunday at 09:04 PM The conversion to the hardtop came out well. Great looking model! Bart
DJMar Posted Sunday at 10:34 PM Posted Sunday at 10:34 PM Sweet looking conversion. That's some really nice work there.
beeRS Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Great build. That conversation can’t have been easy. It came out so well.
Ulf Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Wow, that body modification turned out great. Your car could have passed for a box stock AMT build if I hadn't read the text.
Beans Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Very cool! You'd never know the kit didn't come like that. Great work.

Chuck Most Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Very nice little conversion! Was Julie a flight attendant? That uniform goes pretty hard. 😁
meechum68 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago What a great build! And the story was great! Really personalized the build.
