avidinha Posted October 5 Posted October 5 I made my a replica of my aunt's old Mustang. I have vague memories of her taking me and my older sister to see the Rose Bowl parade in it. I made it from the AMT '77 fastback kit. I cut the roof and trunk off a resin kit to convert it into a coupe. The closest things to the hubcaps I had were the wheels from a Prince Skyline. The tires are from a '70 Monte Carlo Lowrider with white walls drawn on with a gel pen. I printed the plates. The mirrors and gas cap are from my parts box. 28
Keef Posted October 5 Posted October 5 My first car was a 74 Mustang II . It was silver with a silver vinyl top and silver interior. Got it from my cousin for $100 after she wrecked it. It was just like this one 6
bh1701 Posted October 5 Posted October 5 The conversion to the hardtop came out well. Great looking model! Bart
DJMar Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Sweet looking conversion. That's some really nice work there.
beeRS Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Great build. That conversation can’t have been easy. It came out so well.
Ulf Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Wow, that body modification turned out great. Your car could have passed for a box stock AMT build if I hadn't read the text.
Beans Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Very cool! You'd never know the kit didn't come like that. Great work.

Chuck Most Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Very nice little conversion! Was Julie a flight attendant? That uniform goes pretty hard. 😁
meechum68 Posted October 6 Posted October 6 What a great build! And the story was great! Really personalized the build.
webestang Posted October 10 Posted October 10 WOW!!!!! Fantastic job on making a coupe body. Love those Stang II's! I made a replica of my 78 II hatch. Unfortunately I lost my models pics so I have to rephotograph them all but here is my 78 II 302 w/auto trans. 2
