STU111 Posted Friday at 02:01 AM Posted Friday at 02:01 AM G’day everyone, just finished this one off, fought me pretty hard when l tried to put interior and chassis into the body. Had to disregard the instructions and wing it with my own solution and the help of a woodworking clamp.May have been something I did wrong because I’d heard good things about this kit, but I got there in the end. I wanted a smooth lowered look, so l removed the moulded on door handles and the wheel arch trim. The kit suspension coils were cut to get it a little lower. OOB, except for protech wired distributor, Iceman collections valve covers, air cleaner from my spare parts box and Pegasus wheels and brake rotors. Colour is Tamiya TS-38 dark gunmetal. Despite the trouble I had with it, I’m happy with how it turned out. As always, any comments, the good, the bad and the ugly are welcome. Thanks for looking. Cheers, Stuart. 👍🏻 17 1

AMT68 Posted Friday at 03:28 AM Posted Friday at 03:28 AM An extremely nice build. Perfect paint, foil work and an attractive two tone on the seats. 1

espo Posted Friday at 08:36 PM Posted Friday at 08:36 PM As already stated by others, the paint finish is nice and smooth and like the color. removing the door handles and wheel arch trim really clean up the body. The wheel and tire combination complements the stance. 1

Bills72sj Posted yesterday at 05:09 AM Posted yesterday at 05:09 AM Very nice build. I built a 65 Pontiac 2+2 in a similar fashion. https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/187447-the-bad-girl-onyx-a-1965-pontiac-with-a-376hp-421-tri-power-and-a-4-speed-in-testors-metallic-black/#comment-2821075 1

Thank you for the kind words about the Impala.👍🏻

Actually Bob, it was your 57 Ford Del Rio wagon build from a year or so ago that made me want to use that colour on something. Thanks for the compliment on the Impala. 👍🏻
