Peter Lombardo Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Just gorgeous. It would be just about impossible to find fault with any aspect of this build. Long, low and luscious. Certainly one of his best.
trogdor Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Very nice build. I'd love to drive that in real life, that is just too cool
David G. Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Awsome! It's hard to believe there's a Caddy in there somewhere.
sjordan2 Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 That is art. Was it inspired by any particular 1:1?

Jeff Sauber Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Dave, I couldn't help but notice that your Sig says your name, then home of the petty car and vintage mopar trans am stuff...Do you actually personally own the posey and petty cars?

ViperDave Posted June 11, 2010 Author Posted June 11, 2010 Dave, I couldn't help but notice that your Sig says your name, then home of the petty car and vintage mopar trans am stuff...Do you actually personally own the posey and petty cars? Yes. We have the #76 Sam Posey Trans am Challenger. It took 9 years to restore it. We also resored the first of the Dan Gurney Trans am Cuda's back in the 80's and sold it a few years ago. The Petty car is the original Chrysler kit car prototype that Petty built. It is a 73-74 style Challenger and is the one Dale Earnhardt tested for Petty. We also have the Jim Cushman Chrysler kit car. It was originally a Duster body but now has an Aspen body on it. We will go back with the Duster body when we restore it. We did restore the #77 Challenger trans am racer for Ken Epsman and he still owns it and lives in Calif. Thanks.
Nitrozilla Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 My mother always told me to be suspicious of cars that can't decide what color they are! And trust me, I'd be suspicious the whole time that I wuz cruizin down Whittier Blvd in that beautiful, sleek, Sweetness Machine. Great Job. Joe =/\=
