First time i look at the rims and tires. i don´t like the original rims from the box so i do new about resin.

I think now the look is better for me and i pass the parts the first time.

Welcome back and glad to see some of your excellent builds coming.

Looks great and nice details on those wheels. I like the colors you have chosen, are you going for a "Hershey" truck?

Keep up updated!

Hi Guys and thanks for the positive feedback !!!

my next step was the load area from the pick up. i grinded the plastic to a small and glued a wood veneer on it for a better "woodlook".

after drying and painting you can see here the look:

also the sides got slats about wood.

This is looking real good.

I hope you don't have problems with the window glass like I did. It was way to small, fell right through.

Hi !!!

@donald: i pass the windows before painting and at this moment they are fitting. i hope so after painting???

@runsw/scissors: wood veneer gives a great touch i think. i made this also by my 41 chevy pickup:

More detailing comes a little bit later.

The wood of the loading area gets its paint and i can glue the fenders on this area.

Your paint work is excellent and I really like the stake sides you've built.

I built one of these kits more than ten years ago, but I went a very different rout with mine. Here is a link to some photos in case you're interested.
