Harry P. Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 How about this one? Real or model? The answer: MODEL!
Sixties Sam Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 The wheels look real, so I vote real.
Modelmartin Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I saw the gaps in the panel lines and a few other things and thought model but the valve stems on the wheels say real. I can't imagine a 550 spyder with gaposis of the panels like that. I vote model.
sjordan2 Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Good one, Harry. The one puzzling bit is that there's no spyder script on the upper front fender, which is present on the high-end models I know of, and most 1:1 survivors. But I agree with Andrew on the panel gap, plus a couple of other observations. Model.
W-409 Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 This looks like model to me, maybe bit larger scale.... Let's see on friday when comes the right answer.
trogdor Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I'll say model, an extremely good one at that
scalenut Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 (edited) i vote model ,everything you post is a model anyway,, I quit guessing ..lol plus it's setting on a granite countertop Edited September 26, 2011 by scalenut
Draggon Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 The rear wheels are in the wrong place, too far forward!
MikeMc Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 gaposis The word you've entered isn't in the dictionary. Click on a spelling suggestion below or try again using the search bar above.... PRICELESS ANDY!!!!! :D Oh.......its a Model......
Pete J. Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 I'm going model on this piece. I think it is one of harrys big buck diecasts.
Joe Handley Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 I'm going model on this piece. I think it is one of harrys big buck diecasts. ditto
dimaxion Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 The gaposis in noted on this model . On the gapology scale , rated 1-10 , with 10 being closest to perfectly spaced ; this one is around a 6 . Thanx ..
CorvairJim Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 i vote model ,everything you post is a model anyway,, I quit guessing ..lol plus it's setting on a granite countertop I haven't given up guessing - yet - so this time around I'm guesing MODEL for the reasons others have already given. Personally, I think the countertop is marble, but at first I took it for granite too!
s10chevypu Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I have been wrong before. but I say real this time.
customsrus Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 I think I will a little different than everyone and says it real just for the fun of it. Who knows at least I have a 50-50 chance of being right, not bad odds if you ask me.
BKcustoms Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 I say model, the wheels dont look quite right to me.
Harry P. Posted September 30, 2011 Author Posted September 30, 2011 Final vote: 16 REAL, 39 MODEL. And you guys got it... it's a model! With some gaposis! (Or is that gapitis?)
