Craig Irwin Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Fantastic! Lets see, an earlier Gremlin built with Missing Links grille and bumpers, Wally Booth pro-stock, beater,.............
Joe Handley Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 (edited) Well, there goes some more hard earned money.......lol! Edited October 2, 2011 by Joe Handley
Dr. Cranky Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 I remember the Gremlin fondly, and I think it's great to have a new kit out.

MachinistMark Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 gremlin thread redux? gremlin thread 2.0? sounds like a cool release. more subject matter to build is never a bad thing.
Chuck Most Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 I am a bit bummed it has a V8 and not the inline six, but oh well... Jeff Ballard at MCRC casts one. This would be cool as a late-80's era Michigan beater car, which I think is the route I'll take with my build.
Danno Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Awesome! Man, there's gonna be a big run on the old bank account over the next 6-8 months!!!
Chuck Most Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 There's a real AMC bender going on- the Hornet (Hudson is an AMC 'heritage brand'), this and the custom Gremlin being reissued, and the Model King '59 Rambler! I do hope this keeps up.
demoinc392 Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 that's good news, now all we need is the pacers(wagon and regular)and the pintos, both the wagon and coupe as well
charlie8575 Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Now we're talkin'! Does anyone make a correct-era 6 in plastic or resin? I'll have to go hunt one down, or does anyone know what's needed to update one of the early Rambler 6s? Charlie Larkin
gray07 Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Most of the pacers came with the 6, I have an orriginal 76 gremlin model thatr i built years ago, i will be byeing me a few of these.
Chuck Most Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 And I think ALL of the Pacer kits by MPC and AMT had the six- I've been looking for one of those for a while!
lordairgtar Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 More good news for AMC fans from John Greczula ...... http://wwwboard.spot...pl?read=1704010 -Steve Thanks for posting this. I do want a Gremlin kit. Also, trying to use Spotlight's forum gives me a headache. After clicking maybe five posts, I give up.

SuperStockAndy Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Just got the email. I gotta get one of these and shorten up the AMT Nova PS chassis and throw it under it
Nick Winter Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Well, there goes some more hard earned money.......lol! I agree, There goes another hunk of my paycheck, Wonder if I'll ever get any of it? Nick
